ARTas returned for a third edition in 2018, moving ahead to a June date for the first time in its short history. The exhibition also incorporated elements of an outdoor festival with the introduction of face-painting services and balloon animals.
More than 300 guests enjoyed a lineup of emerging singer-songwriters at our outdoor stage and participated in dyeing and calligraphy workshops.
The exhibition, now fully insulated within an indoor area, facilitated conversations between guests and artists. Under the theme of unfinished works, guests explored works by a cement artist, a haiku poet, a mixed media artist and a young visual artist. Guests also performed as musicians in a live paper orchestra installation by artist-in-residence Ng Sze Min.
